The LED profile protects the LED strip and also gives your product a neat and professional appearance. The clear cover can be used for applications where the profile will be hidden and the LED's need to be protected from physical damage. The opal and white cover diffuses the LED strip lights so that the dotting effect is minimized.
The aluminum profile serves as a heat sink and helps to distribute the heat generated from the LEDs which in turn helps to prolong the life span of the LED strip lights.
